Yipee!!! I was tagged by

1. Post all the rules.
2. When tagged, you must write eight personal things about yourself.
3. You must post these eight things in your journal.
4. You must then tag eight other friends/people.
5. Finally, leave a message on each of their pages letting them know they've been tagged.

** 8 things you might possibly care to know about me **
1. I'm 19 years old, and for about a period of 2 months in my freshman or sophomore year I actually forgot what my birthday was (June 19th, but I thought it was the 18th), but the entire time my best friend Aaron kept saying it was the 19th. That was an embarassing day when I had to admit he was actually right.
2. I'm a Rubik's cube
FREAK!!! I have yet to find a "twisty puzzle" I couldn't beat, and I estimate that I have solved my Rubik's Cube 32,000+ times (at
least 50x/day for appx. 1.75 years; 1.75*365*50=31937.5≈32000). My best time, however, is only 19.26 seconds, which is no good for seriously entering a world class competition. Also, I've probably spent (total) about 18.5 SOLID days solving
just the 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube.
3.I don't have my driver's license yet. It's not that I can't drive well, but I've just missed my tests twice due to unfortunate circumstances, and am currently waiting on my third to come around. (That's just a little embarassing...)
4. I'm a cat lover. Dogs are awesome too, but not as great as cats.

5. I'm a partial insomniac. No idea why, but some nights I just don't sleep at all, sometimes I sleep just fine, sometimes I fall asleep for just a few minutes and will be unable to do so again for hours regardless of my level of exhaustion, and yet other times I can fall asleep for hours in the middle of the day right after having two cups of coffee. At one point I developed a developed a dependancy an diphenhydramine HCl. That REALLY sucked. And I LOOOOOOVE Ambien.
6. Unless I'm under oath, or someone's life is at stake, I will NEVER intentionally reveal another person's secret if they don't wish me to. In fact I'm still keeping secrets from the fourth grade. TYhe only secrets I tell are my own, and even then if other people are involved I will be rather hesitant.
7.I have excellent eyesight, though I am actually farsighted. I believe my eyesight is just a hair under 10/20, which is apparently fairly uncommon, as in like 1/1000 people or so. Not super rare, but definately good enough for me

8.I can't believe I'm going to tell you guys this, but only because I don't want people from Wautoma (where I currently live, and where the majority of my friends reside too.) to read this, but I figure that very few of them are ever on dA and I should have a new journal before any of them has a chance to, because it's actually rather embarassing to me: I'm autistic. Specifically I have what is known as Asperger's Syndrome. The main reason I'm telling you this is so that I can do my part to clear up common misunderstandings about autism. It is NOT retardation, or anywhere close. Actually I have a documented I.Q. of 183 (if you don't know how an intelligence quotient works, that means my mental age is about 1.83x my physical age. Thus I am 19 and a half, so my mental age is about 35.6).That's also why I can intuitively solve Rubik's Cubes and just about any other puzzle you give me. I can also speed read at about 1250wpm and normally at about 925. But it also means that nearly ALL of my social skills have been learned, as you would study for a big chemistry final. Which BTW, I believe it's also why, though I ace most of my tests, the three tests I studied for in my life I failed. Funny story: the way we actually found out that I had Asperger's Syndrome was I had been afrai to go onto third grade, because I had this idea that once you went to third grade you somehow magically became a bully. So I stayed in second grade. My grades just about warranted it though, because a common attribute of those with autism is an inability (for lack of a better word) to put words on paper, which means I rarely handed in my homework, even though I knew the material. But I only stayed in second grade for about three weeks. We were doing our english class at the time, and my teacher was getting a little fed up with me because I had not been participating at that time. We had beed taking turns reading out of a book, and nearly everyone but me had already gone and I had not even raised my hand for a turn to read, so she (my teacher) volunteered me. And I read about three pages or so. When I finished, she stood up and took me down to the principals office. The reason: I had never even set my book on my desk. I had beed reading it from memory from the previous year. Anyhow, I'm starting to feel as though I'm bragging, but really all I'm trying to do is clear up the autistic=retarded myth here.
Anyhow, I've written FAR too much already, and I've not been to sleep yet, so I will procrastinate tagging my other people until I have rested.
Peace,
Milamber.
PS - Can someone please tell me what's up with this new "Collect" option under "Add to Favorites" please? I'd really like to know.

Never take someone for granted
Hold every person close to your heart
Because you might wake up one day
And realize that you've lost a diamond
While you were too busy collecting stones.
Your gallery is really great!
